Casting Results for 25 July 2010.

This month we had the Welsh Team Trials for 100gm and 125gm. Those results are not included here. It was a great day as usual. It started with an overcast sky and a little drizzle. The wind was from the west at about 7 mph. It continued to blow from the west but picked up a bit in the afternoon when the sun came out. It was good to see some members returning for the trials. Top honours of the day go to Phil Jones with 247metres who just pipped Mike Dagnall who hit 241.2metres. (263.78yards)
Special mention must go to A Morgan with the highest overall distance and PB's in all four weights. He also hit two casts over 228.6metres (250yards) 231.30metres (252.95yards) and 235.70metres (252.95yards) but failed on one 227.30. Three casts over 228.6 metres would have put him up in group one. Well done that man.
