SURFSCAST WALES

Results for 31st August 2008

In all a good day considering the weather of late, stayed mostly dry with the wind from a westerly direction very light in the morning increasing to around 8 – 10 mph later. This made for a great time, loads of banter and plenty of laughs.

Our very own casting “superstar” Christian Brayley was in a class of his own continuing his run of form with a massive cast of 258.30 meters on the 150g, next came Glyn Baldwin smashing the 150g to an impressive 244.76 Glyn is going from strength to strength since his return from injury .In third spot was UKSF clubman’s winner Josh Evans with a superb cast of 241.77 on the 125g .Also a deserved mention to the new lads who gave it their all, no PBs this time lads but well done.


Next moth Surfcast Wales meet will be 1 week earlier on the 21st to accommodate the UKSF clubman’s 2008 . We would like to wish the Surfcast Wales team all the very best.

We had 1 personal bests this month Ian Williams on the 125g “well-done Ian keep it up


Another great day had by all with loads of laughs and good humoured banter roll on 3 weeks time.

If anyone is interested and would like to join the club or just coming for a look they will be made very welcome surfcasting is a sport for all ages and all levels of ability but most of all a very social sport.
