Casting Results 27th June 2010

Well what a day bright sunshine and 10-15 mph wind which blewdown the court most of the day, so at least everyone went home
with a suntan even if they didn't hit any PB,s.After an absence of a few months Gareth Davies made his presence felt by smashing the 150g to 232m must be all the work he's been doing.Note to self must go and buy a shovel as it seems to work for GarethClose behind was an in form Mike Dagnal with a 228 and just a meter
behind him was Barry Davies with a 227 nice casting lads PB's this month for A Morgan with his new toy of 208m on the 150g
M Pritchard with a 207m on the 150g C Harrison 170m on the 150gK Shortman 177m on the baby 75g lead, and continuing to improve even further was W Irving with a 224m on the 125g But the biggest congratulations this month has to go to our junior member 14 year old Garwyn Shortman who not only put down his first 200 yard cast but broke 3 of the Junior club records in the process on 3 different leads.100g- 184m {202yds} 125g-196m{214yds} 150g-190m{208yds} Well done Garwyn excellent casting.
Don't forget next months competition will include the first round of
the Welsh qualifiers
